Sofia Lagerkvist, Charlotte von der Lancken and Anna Lindgren are the members of the Swedish design group Front.
Their works are based on common discussions, explorations and experiments and they are all involved in the projects from initial ideas to the final product.
Front's design objects often communicate a story to the observer about the design process, about the material it is made of or about conventions within the design field.
In their work they have assigned part of the making of design to animals, computers or machines.
They have made a constantly changing interior, created objects with explosions, robotic furniture and a range of furniture inspired by their fascination with magic.
Front Design is a design studio is composed of 4 Swedish women designers, this rare designer girls team members, Charlotte von der contains the Sofia Lagerkvist Lancken, Anna Lindgren and Katja Savstrom, 4 people master of industrial design class, to design the same passion and multi thinking personality to let the 4 men fit in easily with.
The team was founded, they do not stop to explore any possibilities, the well-known Animals series rabbit desk lamp, or floating layer cabinet such as magic, each new attempts are full of creativity and imagination of the infinite, of 4 people, the design not only refers to a state of complete works, can extend to design process and future time imposed change.
Front design has women particularly keen and delicate, but also has the courage and the spirit of experimentation than most people. Front design was also affected by the invitation of Fukazawa Naohito, to design a unique chocolate vase, and participated in the Tokyo 21_21 Chocolate exhibition 2007.
